Vince Rocco of BLU Realty Group participated as a luxury specialist panelist on April 13 at The AREAA Luxury Global Summit that took place at the Waldorf Astoria.

This fast paced event, which also featured a Q&A segment, aimed to offer real estate professionals the opportunity to talk and learn from some of the industry’s top luxury producers. As a panelist, Vince Rocco was pleased to be able to share his knowledge when it comes to business planning, goal setting, marketing and client development strategies. Attendees of the event were eager to glean this information that would benefit their business and their clients. The casual and conversational style of the event helped to focus on sharing experiences and knowledge with the audience.

Laurent Demeure, founder and CEO of Coldwell Banker France & Monaco, joined Rocco on the panel. Demeure is best known for his part in making the franchise the biggest progression in 2013 for a real estate group. Demeure has been working in the luxury real estate in Paris for more than twenty years. The panel also included Shawn Elliott, owner and founder of Shawn Elliott Luxury Homes & Estates. Within one year of opening his doors, Elliott was the number one real estate company in Woodbury, New York. Today Shawn Elliott secures more than fifty percent of high-end market homes on Long Island. Panelist Nikki Field, Senior Global Real Estate Advisor, has consistently ranked among the global agency’s top three producers and has over one billion dollars in sales. In 2013 the Wall Street Journal ranked Field in the top 120 agents in America and in the top 15 in New York City for sales Volume in their annaul America’s Top 250 Real Estate Professionals. Arthur Hung, AREAA Metro New York Chapter president, specializes in all aspects of the real estate life cycle and in particular bringing Chinese buyers to the New York Market. He is consistently ranked among NRT’s top agents nationwide. Panelist Cathy Izumo has been a realtor in the Palos Verdes peninsula area near Los Angeles for more than twenty years. An equity partner with Keller Williams Palos Verdes Realty, she was recently awarded as one of the top two producing individual agents in her office for 2013. She currently serves as the First Vice President of AREAA’s South Bay Chapter and is a member of the Million Dollar Guild with the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing (ILHM).

Highly sought after panelist Rocco shared his experiences in real estate, coming to the industry in the mid-1990s. Rocco had been buying and selling Manhattan co-ops and condos for personal projects and the excitement of the industry ignited a new career for him. He never looked back. Rocco’s transactions to date exceed $350,000,000. Rocco shared with the audience his personal style of being involved in every detail of the detail. “I am known for my straightforward approach, my integrity and flexibility while working with people.” Rocco shared how he cultivates strong relationships that last a lifetime. Rocco shared about his extensive knowledge of Manhattan and its unique neighborhoods and the passion he has for selling apartments all over New York. Rocco shared his expertise in New Condo Development sales that he acquired over the years resulting in selling in three different new development projects. Rocco shared with the audience his newest way to reach people in hosting his weekly live radio talk show, Good Morning New York, Real Estate with Vince Rocco, that airs every Monday at 9am.

The AREAA Luxury Global Summit was a huge success. Rocco was pleased to be able to share his knowledge with an audience of real estate professionals eager to build their name recognition and and business network.
