New York City, known as the city that never sleeps, is known for always having new and exciting projects in the works. Despite being the biggest city in the United States, New York is also still one of the fastest growing as well. Over the past few weeks, there has been a great deal of New York real estate news released about big developments within the city. One of the most talked about new projects is the one at 466 Eleventh Avenue. The project is being headed by Sirias Development, which also owns a property at Hudson Yards. The company, together with Chinese real estate development company Kuafu Properties just announced plans to construct a 47 story mixed-use building. The building will be 700 feet tall. According to the report from the developers, the building will have 400 luxury hotel units, that span across 20 floors. The building will also have 50 luxury condominiums within the space. The developers will also have The Shanghai Club, which will be an exclusive membership club that occupies three floors of the building.

Another big piece of New York real estate news came from a team creating a new Tribeca property. A group consisting of the Fisher Brothers, Howard Lorber and the Witkoff Group bought the properties in 2013 and now they have applied to construct a new 62-story tower at the site. The proposed building will have 139 units spread across an area of commercial space. This mixed-use piece of New York real estate promises to be a game changer for the area.

Finally, there is the project from Greenland Forest City. The team is planning to build a new 17 story residential building at 550 Vanderbilt Avenue in the Atlantic Yards area. The project will have 330,778 square feet of space as well as a commercial section that will make up 4,731 square feet. The building will also host 282 residential units. More information on these New York real estate projects is expected to be released in the coming months as approvals are granted and these endeavor get underway.
